Cada vez que llega una nueva versión del sistema operativo de Google, muchos comenzamos a buscar incesantemente la forma de poder instalarlo en nuestro teléfono. Y en este caso ya se puede instalar Android 9 Pie para el Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, aunque eso sí, a través de una ROM alternativa a MIUI, y con Android puro.
Hace unos días precisamente te contábamos el mismo proceso para el Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 la anterior generación de una de las gamas de Xiaomi más populares del mercado, vamos a conocer cómo hacer lo propio ahora en el Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro.
Pasos para instalar Android 9 Pie para el Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro
Como es habitual, días después de la liberación de la nueva versión de Android, esta comienza a llegar poco a poco a distintos terminales de manera extra oficial, ya que como es habitual, los fabricantes se toman su tiempo en brindar las actualizaciones y adaptarlas a sus respectivas capas, como es el caso de Xiaomi. En esta ocasión, le toca el turno al Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 PRO, uno de los mejores gama media, que ahora puede disfrutar de Android 9 Pie en su versión AOSP, lo que nos brindará una experiencia de uso muy parecida a la de Android One o lo Pixel.
Al igual que ocurría con el Redmi Note 4, en esta ROM funciona todo a la perfección, salvo la encriptación, y en este caso concreto, la función Miracast o envío de pantalla mediante Wifi. Por lo demás, se puede utilizar perfectamente la ROM en el día a día. Esta ROM forma parte de la Pixel Experiencie, que nos ofrece precisamente eso, la misma experiencia de utilizar un Google Pixel, hablando estrictamente de software, gracias al origen AOSP de esta ROM. Como es lógico, se trata de una versión beta del software, por lo que podría haber darse cierta inestabilidad, aunque es poco probable.
Para disfrutar de esta ROM, debemos descargarla desde el siguiente enlace, además, y como aspecto positivo, dentro de la ROM ya vienen integradas las apps de Google, por lo que no hay que descargarse ninguna Gapp, como venía siendo habitual. Por supuesto, debéis hacer una copia de seguridad de todos los datos del teléfono, porque hay muchas posibilidades de que se pierdan.
Como es lógico, para poder instalar esta ROM en el Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, necesitaremos instalar antes el recovery TWRP, para poder flashear la ROM, y previamente a este paso, desbloquear el bootloader.
