Xiaomi acaba de presentar su nuevo buque insignia, el Mi Mix 3, un terminal que recupera el diseño de pantalla deslizante que tuvo su apogeo hace casi dos décadas, especialmente en terminales de Nokia. Muchos recordarán este tipo de pantallas con Matrix de telón de fondo, un film que vio la luz en 1999 y en el que Keanu Reeves se comunicaba a través de un Nokia 8110 con esta particularidad.
El sistema deslizante otorga un mayor aprovechamiento del espacio de la pantalla, según la compañía china, y pone en marcha el sistema de cámaras para autorretratos automáticamente en cuanto se produce el desliz.
Al apoyar el pulgar sobre la pantalla y hacer presión hacia adelante se despliega una doble cámara frontal de selfies de 12 y 12MP. El objetivo principal tiene una apertura f1.8 y un tamaño de píxeles de 1.4 micras. El secundario cuenta con una apertura de f2.4 y un tamaño de píxeles de una micra.
En cuanto a su cámara trasera, dispone de un sensor de 24MP y f1.8 y otro adicional de 2MP para captar profundidad en los selfies -es un efecto que también puede utilizarse al grabar vídeo-. Todas las lentes del equipo han sido desarrolladas por Sony.
