Xiaomi lanza la actualización de Android 9 Pie para el Redmi Note 5 102
Con Android Q en el horizonte, aún hay muchos smartphones que deben actualizarse primero Android 9 Pie, según el calendario previsto por sus fabricantes. Xiaomi está haciendo lo propio, y ahora le toca el turno al Redmi Note 5, que tras pasar por el clásico periodo de fase beta, está comenzando a recibir ya la esperada actualización que añade todas las novedades de Android Pie.
El Redmi Note 5 llegó el año pasado como un dispositivo de gama media y con Android 7 Nougat como sistema operativo. Tras haberse actualizado a Android Oreo y después de que los usuarios hayan podido probar y contribuir en la beta de Android 9 Pie, Xiaomi está comenzando a lanzar la versión estable. El aviso de la actualización está llegando de forma escalonada, siendo los usuarios chinos los primeros que están pudiendo probar la nueva versión.
Novedades y mejoras
El parche incluye la versión MIUI 1.3.1 basada en Android 9 Pie, que además de ofrecer todas las novedades del último sistema operativo de Google, corrige errores y mejora el rendimiento general del dispositivo. En el informe que recoge el registro de cambios, se detalla una corrección que afectaba al rendimiento de la calculadora, con la densidad de la pantalla y el rendimiento general del Redmi Note 5. Tras actualizar, el terminal también será compatible con nuevas funciones de control por voz, bloqueo de aplicaciones o la aceleración para juegos. El Redmi Note 5 cuenta con una pantalla de 5,99 pulgadas con resolución Full HD bajo la que encontramos un chip Snapdragon 636 de 8 núcleos con CPU Kryo basada la tecnología ARM Cortex y 2 opciones de RAM diferentes: 3 y 4 GB de RAM, con variantes de 32 y 64 GB de almacenamiento interno.
Recordemos que Android 9 Pie mejora también el rendimiento de la batería, al hacer una gestión inteligente de su uso, limitando el uso que energético de las apps en segundo plano. El Redmi Note 5 podrá también probar el nuevo sistema de gestos y experimentará cambios en la interfaz de usuario. Como decimos, la actualización está llegando primero a China. Si la respuesta es buena y no hay ningún problema, debería llegar pronto vía OTA a otros mercados en los que se ha comercializado el Redmi Note 5, incluyendo España.
