La fotografía móvil se ha convertido en uno de los grandes caballos de batalla de los fabricantes. Si en 2018 hemos viso los móviles de triple y cuádruple cámara trasera, ahora hemos conocido las imágenes de una patente de un móvil de LG con 16 cámaras traseras.
Precisamente esta semana llegaba a España el Samsung A9, el primer móvil en el mundo con cuatro cámaras de fotos traseras, y que se ha puesto a la venta en nuestro país, sin duda un gran salto en el apartado fotográfico para los smartphones.
Así sería este móvil de LG con 16 cámaras
Ni tres ni cuatro, LG estaría trabajando o al menos planteando la posibilidad de desarrollar un smartphone con nada menos que 16 cámaras de fotos traseras. Estas se encontrarían dispuestas formando un cuadrado, configurado por cuatro filas de cuatro sensores cada una. Esto nos daría como resultado una malla de 16 cámaras que no hemos visto nunca antes en un móvil. Si pensábamos que el techo de las cámaras móviles serían las tres del LG V40 ThinQ o las cinco cámaras de fotos del futuro Nokia 9, nos equivocábamos. Además no se limitarían a colocar sensores de forma indiscriminada en la parte posterior, sino que además tendrían una función innovadora.
Porque estas cámaras tendrían la capacidad de moverse, alterar su ángulo de visión para poder captar imágenes desde distintas perspectivas. Es algo que se puede apreciar en los dibujos de la patente, donde se muestra un osito de peluche visto desde diferentes perspectivas.
Como puedes ver, además se muestra cómo se podrían mover cada una de las cámaras, para crear formas geométricas capaces de captar las imágenes desde diferentes ángulos, y todo ello sin que el sujeto que está realizando la foto tenga que desplazarse para encontrar el mejor ángulo
Así la curvatura de las cámaras traseras podría obtener sorprendentes imágenes como resultado, dando un uso completamente distinto de la cámara de fotos y pudiendo crear contenidos interactivos completamente novedosos de cada imagen tomada. Eso sí, de momento es una patente, que no sabemos si habrá tenido recorrido alguno, y si habrá supuesto el desarrollo de verdad por parte de LG de un smartphone con una cámara de estas características.
