Tras varios meses de noticias y rumores, Samsung al fin ha decidido renovar su línea Galaxy J de gama media-baja. Esta nueva generación para 2017, mantiene la línea de diseño que caracteriza a los terminales de la gama J, aunque con una apariencia más pulida que acerca a los terminales a los estándares de la gama media actual.
Los tres nuevos smartphones han sido introducidos hoy, tal como afirman desde SamMobile, y se espera que lleguen a los mercados de todo el mundo a lo largo de los próximos meses. A modo de curiosidad, y antes de entrar en detalle, es necesario comentar que la línea Galaxy J es la más vendida de Samsung en el continente europeo, tal como ha señalado el encargado de Marketing de la compañía en Holanda.

El Samsung Galaxy J3 es el modelo de especificaciones más recortadas de esta nueva línea de terminales. Al igual que sus hermanos, cuenta con un cuerpo fabricado completamente en aluminio, aunque su tamaño es inferior al del resto de integrantes de la línea, debido a su pantalla de 5 pulgadas con resolución HD y tecnología TFT.
En su interior encontramos un procesador a 1,4 GHz acompañado de 2 GB de memoria RAM y 16 GB de almacenamiento. Todo ello, estará acompañado de Android 7.0 Nougat y una bateria de 2.400 mAh.

Por su parte, el J5 se cuela en la posición intermedia de esta nueva edición, con un diseño calcado al del resto de integrantes, y un tamaño a medio camino entre el J3 y el J7 gracias a su pantalla de 5,2 pulgadas, en este caso AMOLED, aunque con resolución HD.
Bajo el capó comparte algunas de sus características con el Galaxy J3, como la cantidad de memoria RAM y de almacenamiento, aunque en este caso encontramos un procesador a 1,6 GHz y una batería que crece hasta los 3.000 mAh.
La cámara es otro de los aspectos que se ve modificado con respecto a su hermano pequeño. No en la parte trasera, donde se mantienen los 13 megapíxeles, pero sí en la frontal, donde el sensor pasa de 5 a 13 megapíxeles.

Por último nos encontramos con el modelo más top de esta gama, el Galaxy J7. En este caso estamos ante un gama media con todas las letras, y es que sus especificaciones son notablemente superiores a las de sus dos hermanos pequeños.
Bajo el mismo chasis de aluminio, nos encontramos con una pantalla de 5,5 pulgadas FullHD Super AMOLED, un procesador de ocho núcleos a 1,6 GHz junto a 3 GB de memoria RAM y 16 GB de almacenamiento. La batería también aumenta considerablemente hasta los 3.600 mAh.
