Moto Z3 Play: se filtra vídeo, sus características y sus Moto Mods 120
Desde XDA-Developers han podido acceder a documentos internos de Motorola que describen cómo será el futuro Moto Z3 Play. Hay que tener en cuenta que se encuentra en fases relativamente tempranas de su desarrollo y algunos aspectos podrían cambiar de cara a su lanzamiento, pero es de esperar que la idea general del dispositivo se mantenga. Por ejemplo, se define el dispositivo como uno de los smartphone premium más finos del mercado, aunque ese tagline puede cambiar de cara a su lanzamiento.
El dispositivo contará con una pantalla de 6 pulgadas con formato 18:9 y resolución Full HD+, adaptado a los nuevos tiempos y ofreciendo un panel de gran tamaño. El procesador principal será un Snapdragon 636, la memoria RAM alcanzará los 4 GB y el almacenamiento interno será de 32 o 64 GB según el modelo escogido. La cámara trasera será dual con dos sensores de 12 MP, mientras que la cámara frontal alcanza los 8 MP. La batería se conforma con 3.000 mAh, que parecen algo cortos si tenemos en cuenta el tamaño de pantalla, aunque coincide con la idea de tener un smartphone premium fino. Parece que no contará con puerto jack para auriculares.
Pero si hablamos del Moto Z3 Play, hay que hablar de los Moto Mods. Como en iteracciones anteriores de este dispositivo, habrá soporte para módulos externos que añadirán varias funciones. Se habla de varios bundles con los que se venderá el dispositivo, lo que permite descubrir un Moto Mod “Power” Edition para añadir más batería; un mod “Style” Edition que no se especifica que hará siendo más factible que sea una carcasa; un Mod “Gamepad” Edition,claramente destinado a controlar videojuegos; y un Moto Mod “Projection” Edition, un proyector para ver contenido multimedia de otro modo.
Varias notas respecto al software
Cabe destacar que la filtración va acompañada de varios datos respecto a nuevas funciones. Se introducirán las Moto Experiences, atajos a las funciones que más utilice el usuario o usuaria. Con Moto Voice se podrá controlar el móvil usando la voz; y también habrá gestos de navegación. El Moto Z3 Play contará también con desbloqueo facial y un sensor de huellas en el lateral, presumiblemente integrado en el botón Power. Habrá carga rápida con Turbo Power, y prometen energía para durar medio día con tan solo media hora de carga.
Las cámaras contarán con Cinemagraphs, que básicamente es la versión de Lenovo de las live-photos. Contará con modo retrato tanto para la cámara trasera como para la cámara delantera. Habrá un modo que permitirá cambiar el fondo de las fotografías, como si se utilizara un croma. Finalmente, de forma muy interesante, no se describe con qué versión de Android saldrá a la venta, pero sí se indica que habrá dos actualizaciones del sistema. Presumiendo que venga con Android Oreo de serie, el Moto Z3 Play se actualizaría hasta Android Q.
