Para la fotografía, Xiaomi ha incluido una cámara trasera de 12.0MP con apertura f/2.2 y un tamaño de píxel de 1.25 μm que viene con funciones como autofocus rápido y PDAF. El sensor de 8.0MP de la parte frontal ha sido optimizado para capturar selfies de buena calidad en condiciones de poca luz. Está equipado con un flash LED y Beauty 3.0 mejorado. Por último, el móvil cuenta con una ranura SIM híbrida que también es compatible con tarjeta de memoria. Las características de conectividad incluyen 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, microUSB y conector de audio de 3.5 mm.
¿Qué esperar de la versión Pro?
El Redmi Note 5 Pro presenta un diseño de unibody metálico como el anterior, de hecho nada cambia mucho en este sentido; incluso el tamaño y resolución de la pantalla junto con los colores disponibles son los mismos.
En cambio, debajo del capó, Xiaomi ha dotado al teléfono con un procesador Snapdragon 636. Y lo que todos esperaban, posee una configuración de cámara dual en la parte posterior por primera vez. Este dúo está conformado por 12MP + 5 MP con una apertura de f/2.2 y f/2.0 respectivamente. En la parte frontal tenemos una cámara Sony IMX376 de 20MP que tiene Beautify 4.0 y LED Selfie-light. El Redmi Note 5 Pro también promete una función de desbloqueo facial que llegará a través de una actualización de OTA a fines de marzo de 2018.
La batería sigue siendo de 4000mAh. Además, Xiaomi no agrega puerto USB tipo C en ninguno de los modelos. Esta versión Pro tiene unas variantes de 4GB y 6GB, ambas con 64GB de almacenamiento.
