Huawei Mate 30: Un nuevo método permite instalar los servicios de Google (pero no es perfecto) 106
Huawei lanzó hace unas semanas sus smartphones Mate 30 y Mate 30 Pro que, a pesar de llegar con un hardware muy interesante, carecen de los servicios de Google debido al veto de Estados Unidos a la compañía china.
Esta limitación ha llevado a los usuarios a buscar formas de instalar los servicios de Google en el Mate 30 para que puedan funcionar como cualquier otro smartphone Android disponible en el mercado.
Hasta ahora hemos visto dos métodos. El primero era utilizar una aplicación llamada LZPlay que aprovechaba una API no documentada de los smartphones de Huawei para instalar los servicios de Google Play con privilegios de administrador.
La app LZPlay fue retirada rápidamente, en cualquier caso, no era una solución demasiado segura ya que provenía de un desarrollador anónimo.
El segundo método era restaurar en los dispositivos una copia de seguridad de otro usuario que hubiera instalado con éxito la solución de LZPlay antes de su eliminación. Esta solución era todavía más arriesgada, ya que ni siquiera sabes de dónde proviene el sistema operativo o la ROM de tu smartphone.
Ahora, los usuarios han inventado un tercer método, que es menos arriesgado que las opciones anteriores ya que se basa en VMOS, es decir, máquinas virtuales.
Los usuarios de Windows que hayan usado una máquina virtual para instalar otro sistema operativo como Mac o Linux; o los propietarios de Mac que hayan usado Parallels para instalar Windows se pueden imaginar cómo funcionar VMOS.
Esta solución permite a los propietarios del Mate 30 ejecutar una copia completamente separada de Android con Google Services sobre sistema operativo principal, que actúa como anfitrión.
Una vez que configuras VMOS en un Mate 30, puedes utilizar los servicios de Google pero se mantienen las mismas limitaciones que tenía LZPlay: no hay Netflix o Google Pay, pero la mayoría de las demás aplicaciones funcionan bien.
Otro problema de este método es que las aplicaciones generalmente tardan más en cargar y ofrecen una experiencia de uso más lenta, como se puede apreciar en este vídeo de un Mate 30 Pro con VMOS, así que no es ideal.
