Ya no hace falta esperar a las clásicas filtraciones, ya que Xiaomi y algunos de sus directivos no pueden resistirse para contar al mundo algunas de las especificaciones técnicas que llegarán en los nuevos Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 y Redmi Note 8 Pro. Aunque la presentación de ambos dispositivos está prevista para el próximo 29 de agosto, ya vamos conociendo datos muy relevantes que nos permiten hacernos una idea de lo que nos encontraremos.
Diseño
Tenemos ya pocas dudas sobre lo que esperar en cuanto al diseño, ya que el Redmi Note 8 Pro ha sido mostrado en todo su esplendor. En concreto se trata de la versión Pro, que se espera similar al Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 pero con cuatro cámaras en lugar de tres y un posible sensor ToF. El Redmi Note 8 Pro filtrado en color verde nos recuerda ligeramente al Oppo Reno, pero el color “chillón” del dispositivo responde sin duda a su carácter gaming. El Redmi Note 8 contará al menos con una batería de 4.000 mAh mientras que la batería del Redmi Note 8 Pro ha sido confirmada en 4.500 mAh. Esto significa que no estaremos precisamente ante un móvil “ligero”.
Cámaras
Otra de las certezas confirmadas es que el Redmi Note 8 Pro será el rimer smartphone del mercado en incorporar un sensor de 64 megapixels, concretamente el nuevo Samsung ISOCELL GW1. También se cree que será exclusiva de este modelo, ya que se espera que el Redmi Note 8 estándar incluya de nuevo un sensor de 48 megapixels. Sabemos que el Redmi Note 8 Pro contará con cuatro sensores traseros, incluyendo tres cámaras con la principal de 64 megapixels y un probable sensor ToF. El Redmi Note 8 por su parte, llegaría con una configuración triple, es decir, añade un sensor más a lo visto en el Redmi Note 7 pero manteniendo el principal de 48 megapixels.
Algunos de los directivos de Xiaomi han comenzado incluso a compartir fotos realizadas con el Redmi Note 8 Pro. Si bien no podemos verlas a su tamaño completo, se sabe que a su máxima calidad tienen un tamaño de 4.500 x 3.775 píxeles y ocupan en torno a 13 megas por foto.
Potencia
La serie Redmi Note 8 contará con la nueva serie de procesadores de MediaTek Helio G90, sabemos seguro que el Redmi Note 8 Pro llegará con la variante G90T, pero no sabemos a ciencia cierta si será exactamente igual en el Redmi Note 8. Lo que es seguro es que ambos terminales contarán con un sistema de refrigeración líquida que permitirá reducir la temperatura del dispositivo entre 4 y 6 grados.Esto es una ventaja para que el procesador rinda a máxima potencia y pueda darlo todo con los juegos más exigentes.
Ya ha pasado por AnTuTu
Precisamente hoy conocíamos que el Redmi Note 8 Pro ha pasado por el famoso test de rendimiento AnTuTu, consiguiendo una puntuación de 283.333 puntos. Es una puntuación muy decente para un terminal de gama media, que supera al Snapdragon 710, y que no queda muy lejos de los 301.419 puntos del Kirin 810. El Helio G90T ha sido fabricado en un proceso de 7nm, por lo que su consumo es mayor y de ahí la necesidad de que los Redmi Note 8 integren baterías de gran capacidad.
La apuesta por MediaTek
Es necesario pararnos un poco más a reflexionar sobre el procesador, ya que aunque MediaTek lleve tiempo en una segunda línea, abandonando el desarrollo de procesadores de gama alta, puede que la serie Redmi Note 8 sea el trampolín que necesitan para volver a ser tomados en consideración. El nuevo chip MediaTek G90T se compone de dos núcleos ARM Cortex A76 y seis núcleospequeños ARM Cortex A55. La GPU es una Mali-G76 con una frecuencia de hasta 800MHz. Entre sus especificaciones, admite pantallas con relación de aspecto 21: 9, frecuencia de actualización de 90Hz, el estándar HDR10, almacenamiento UFS 2.1 y hasta 10 GB de memoria RAM LPDDR4X. Además, el MediaTek Helio G90T es el primer procesador del mundo en recibir la certificación de experiencia de juego en línea móvil TÜV Rheinland.
Muy gaming
Se lleva lo gaming. Se lleva que el smartphone sea de colores llamativos, que incluye aplicaciones que aumenten el rendimiento, que tenga accesorios para mejorar la experiencia de juego y que además esté asociado con algún desarrollador para que ofrezca contenidos exclusivos de algún juego popular. Nada de esto faltará en los nuevos Redmi Note 8. Sabemos seguro que Xiaomi ha llegado a un acuerdo con Blizzard Entertainment para ofrecer algún tipo de contenido relacionado con el universo de World of Warcraft, el famoso juego de rol multijugador en línea. Por si fuera poco, la compañía ha mostrado en Weibo un gamepad que se conecta al lado izquierdo del Redmi Note 8, tal y como hemos visto en el gamepad de Black Shark 2 y similar al estilo mostrado por Honor con su propio accesorio para jugar.
¿Y los precios?
Los precios de ambos dispositivos siguen siendo un misterio, pero es posible que Xiaomi pueda seguir jugando en la liga del “low-cost” con un teléfono tan sofisticado, ya que es uno de los elementos más caros de la producción, el chip de MediaTek, tiene un coste considerablemente más bajo que los Snapdragon de Qualcomm.
