Ya sí, podemos decir que toda la gama alta de 2017, a falta del OnePlus 5 y el Note8, está presentada. Como nos temíamos, ninguno de los teléfonos presentados supone un salto cualitativo respecto al año pasado. Sin embargo, hay uno que nos ha llamado poderosamente la atención; el Xiaomi Mi 6.
Tanto es así, que personalmente, prefiero este modelo al Samsung Galaxy S8, y no, no es solo por el precio, sino por otros muchos factores que voy a comentarte a continuación.
Por qué me compraría el Xiaomi Mi 6 en lugar del Samsung Galaxy S8
Diseño
Sí, esto es algo personal y subjetivo, pero el diseño del Xiaomi Mi 6 tiene ciertas ventajas respecto al Samsung Galaxy S8. Para empezar, el lecotr de huellas está donde tiene que estar, en la parte frontal y accesible. El S8 tiene un lector en la peor posición de todas, lo cual lo hace bastante incómodo y fácil de ensuciar.
A parte, siendo prácticos, es muy bonito tener un teléfono sin marcos, pero la practicidad es nula. El Xiaomi Mi 6 tiene unos marcos muy aceptables, que te permitirán cogerlo sin miedo a que se te caiga y se te rompa en mil pedazos.
Cámara
A estas alturas del partido, poco sentido tiene juzgar una cámara en la gama alta por la calidad general, ya que todos hacen unas fotos prácticamente calcadas, y un usuario medio no notará diferencias significativas en la calidad de una cámara y de otra. Lo que si vas a notar, es que con el Samsung Galaxy S8 podrás hacer fotos de forma normal, pero con el Mi 6 podrás hacer retratos y grandes angulares.
Este modelo, combina lo mejor del Huawei P10 y el LG G6 en un solo terminal, permitiéndote hacer fotografías con el fondo desenfocado y, por otro lado, grandes angulares estilo GoPro. Una cámara de gama alta, en pleno 2017, debe destacar por lo que puede hacer que las demás no pueden hacer, y la del Xiaomi Mi 6 es un claro ejemplo de que podrás disfrutar haciendo muchos más tipos de fotografía, aunque estén quizás algo por debajo en calidad respecto a las del S8.
Precio
Se dice bastante pronto, el Xiaomi Mi 6 vale prácticamente la mitad que el Samsung Galaxy S8, siendo prácticamente igual de bueno. Podrás argumentar que el S8 tiene un panel 2K, pero por defecto viene en FHD. Podrás decir que, seguramente el S8 tenga mejor audio, pero esto no justifica los 400 euros de diferencia.
En definitiva, no hay motivos para pagar el doble por un terminal que ofrece prácticamente lo mismo. Por algo más de 400 euros, tienes un gama alta en toda regla, no necesitas más, y lo sabes.

La versión del S8 que va a llegar a tu país monta un procesador de Exynos que, para que engañarnos, es una auténtica maravilla.
