Estos paneles podrían añadir una nueva característica que la firma estaría lista para presentar en apenas un par de semanas durante el Consumer Electronics Show en Las Vegas, que se desarrollará del 8 de enero al 11 de enero.
Esta nueva característica se denomina sonido en pantalla, y parece que va a ser una característica definitoria de todos los paneles OLED de Samsung para sus futuros teléfonos Samsung. Su funcionamiento se basa en el uso de la vibración y la conducción ósea, que permite a los usuarios escuchar el sonido al poner la oreja en la parte superior del teléfono.
