Se acerca la presentación del Samsung Galaxy S10 y las diferentes variantes del teléfono que la marca mostrará en un evento de lanzamiento que, parece ser, tendrá lugar la última semana de febrero. LA última tanda de rumores que rodean al teléfono hablan de la posibilidad de que, además del sensor de huellas, los altavoces del dispositivo también estén integrados en la pantalla del dispositivo.

Desde hace meses Samsung y LG afirman estar listos para comercializar sus pantallas OLED con altavoces integrados para ofrecer un nuevo concepto multimedia en los topes de gama del año que viene.

El secreto para poder lanzar al mercado teléfonos donde el sonido se emita a través de la pantalla lo encontramos en los nuevos paneles Infinity-O de Samsung, los cuales permiten al fabricante reducir el tamaño de los biseles en sus teléfonos aún más y prescindir del uso del notch incrustando la cámara frontal en un agujero del display. Estos paneles podrían añadir una nueva característica que la firma estaría lista para presentar en apenas un par de semanas durante el Consumer Electronics Show en Las Vegas, que se desarrollará del 8 de enero al 11 de enero.
Esta nueva característica se denomina sonido en pantalla, y parece que va a ser una característica definitoria de todos los paneles OLED de Samsung para sus futuros teléfonos Samsung. Su funcionamiento se basa en el uso de la vibración y la conducción ósea, que permite a los usuarios escuchar el sonido al poner la oreja en la parte superior del teléfono. Este sistema de integrar los altavoces, o emitir el sonido en los displays OLED de la compañía permitirá a Samsung ampliar la relación entre pantalla y cuerpo.
El Samsung Galaxy S10 sería el primer teléfono que la compañía presentara justo después de mostrar esta tecnología en el próximo CES de Las Vegas por lo que no es extraño que fuera el primer terminal en presumir de sonido en pantalla al mismo tiempo que se convierte en el smartphone con mayor relación entre cuerpo y pantalla.
