Otro de los terminales que esperamos conocer en las próximas semanas es el nuevo Mi MIX 3 de Xiaomi. El propio presidente de la compañía compartió con todos los seguidores de la marca una imagen en la que se podía ver cómo el nuevo dispositivo contará con un sistema que permitirá deslizar la pantalla para revelar la cámara frontal.
Se trata de una idea similar a la del Vivo NEX que permite aprovechar al máximo la pantalla y no obstaculizar la superficie de ocupación del panel con elementos como la cámara o el altavoz frontal, un mecanismo que más tarde acabó siendo filtrado a través de un vídeo.
El cristal frontal del Mi MIX 3 despeja dudas
Una imagen publicada en Weibo ha dejado ver una unidad de muestra del cristal que llevará el Mi MIX 3 en el frontal. Como se puede apreciar, los biseles siguen reduciéndose al máximo hasta los niveles insospechados, encontrando la principal diferencia con el Mi MIX 2S en la parte inferior, donde ahora desaparece la cámara frontal para dejar paso a más superficie de pantalla.
Un detalle que nos llama especialmente la atención es el recorte que se aprecia en el borde superior del cristal. Parece que dejará el hueco necesario para dejar a la vista el altavoz que se esconde en la segunda capa del teléfono (la que desliza), de forma que podamos escuchar sin necesidad de desplegar la pantalla.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 3: más pantalla en el mismo espacio
La idea de llevar la cámara a una zona oculta no tiene otra intención que la de seguir ganando espacio para la pantalla. En los anteriores Mi MIX, la cámara se situaba en el bisel inferior del dispositivo para ganar espacio, ya que el efecto óptico producido al agarrar el teléfono por el inferior permitía hacer ver que disponíamos de más pantalla libre frente a nuestros ojos.
Pero las cosas han cambiado en el Mi MIX 3, ya que el bisel inferior pierde la cámara, ganando así más comodidad para exprimir al máximo su grosor. De esta manera se obtiene un marco inferior francamente reducido, que recuerda bastante al del Galaxy S9 de Samsung, que también apuró sus medidas desplazando el lector de huellas a la espalda del terminal.
¿Dónde está el lector de huellas en el Xiaomi Mi MIX 3?
Si seguimos el diseño original del Mi MIX 2S, el lector de huellas debería de ir colocado en la parte posterior, sin embargo, los rumores apuntan a que Xiaomi se atreverá a incluir un lector de huellas bajo la pantalla para seguir mejorando el diseño del producto (o al menos parece que no esconderá nada atrás). Quedaría por saber si este lector de huellas es de tipo capacitivo o ultrasónico, pero simplemente incluirlo ya sería un gran acierto.
