Según la información más reciente, parece que LG está trabajando para lanzar un teléfono con una pantalla de formato enrollable, si hacemos caso a la más reciente patente que ha surgido por parte de la compañía.
LG solicitó la patente de este diseño ante la Oficina de Propiedad Intelectual de Corea (KIPRIS) en octubre del año pasado. La mencionada patente fue publicada en junio de este año. Cuando se despliega la pantalla, termina teniendo el tamaño de un teléfono o tablet (dependiendo del nivel hasta el que se desenrolle) y puede usarse para consumir contenido e interactuar con ella.
Render basado en la patente
El medio LetsGoDigital ha creado un render basado en la nueva patente de pantalla enrollable de LG. Este muestra que la pantalla flexible es tan grande que puede enrollarse dos veces por completo alrededor de la carcasa, por lo que cuando la pantalla está completamente desplegada, puede ser significativamente más ancha que una tablet.
