Xiaomi se mantiene como la segunda marca de wearables más vendida 20
La disputa por el liderazgo en el mercado de los wearables es cosa de dos empresas: Apple y Xiaomi. Las dos firmas son las más vendidas a nivel mundial y de forma habitual pugnan por esta primera posición, en general con una mínima diferencia en ventas. Algo que vuelve a ocurrir en el segundo trimestre de este año a nivel global. En este caso, la marca china se tiene que conformar con la segunda posición.
Xiaomi vuelve a ver como Apple se hace con la primera posición de ventas mundiales. Aunque la diferencia de ventas entre las dos empresas sigue siendo realmente pequeña. ¿Cuánto han vendido cada una?
Apple ha logrado coronarse como la firma más vendida a nivel mundial gracias a la venta de 4,7 millones de unidades. La firma de Cupertino, que vende relojes en este segmento, sigue manteniendo unas grandes ventas y gran popularidad en este segmento. Algo que se incrementará de cara a finales de año con su nueva generación de relojes.
Por otro lado, Xiaomi se ha quedado en segunda posición. La marca china ha vendido algo menos, en este caso 4,2 millones de unidades de sus pulseras y relojes. Aunque hay que tener en cuenta que muchos de los wearables del fabricante chino no están disponibles en todo el mundo.
Un buen ejemplo de ello es la Xiaomi Mi Band 3, su pulsera más reciente. Tras su presentación en mayo, hay muchos mercados en los que aún no está disponible de forma oficial. Así que a medida que vaya ganando presencia en el mercado, veremos como las ventas de Xiaomi crecen.
En este listado la gran sorpresa la da Huawei. El fabricante chino ha sido el que más ha crecido, con un aumento del 118% respecto al año pasado. Un aumento de ventas importante, con el que la marca va ganando presencia en este segmento. De momento, se sitúan ya como la cuarta marca más vendida.
