Xiaomi lo dice: Desde este año se centrará en menos líneas de smartphones 74
El día 2 de julio, los nuevos XiaomiCC9 ylos Xiaomi MiCC9e se presentaron de manera oficial.Esto marca el comienzo de una nueva línea de productos de Xiaomi destinada al público joven. Según Lei Jun, la marca Xiaomi ahora se concentrará en un menor número de líneas de dispositivos. Xiaomi ha divido a los dispositivos en que centraran en tres grandes conjuntos: sus series digitales(como Xiaomi Mi9 , Xiaomi Mi9SE, etc.), la serie MIX ( como es el caso del Mix 3, Mix 2S y Mix 2, etc.) y la Serie CC (Como Xiaomi CC9).
Con respecto a la serie Mi Note de Xiaomi y la serie Mi Max, no hay ningún plan para lanzar algún nuevo terminal a corto plazo.
Xiaomi se centrará en tres grandes series
La serie digital suele llegar durante el primer cuarto de cada año. Son dispositivos que vienen con especificaciones y rendimiento de nivel “top” a un precio justo. Esta línea se centra en los entusiastas orientados al rendimiento que además gusten de un buen diseño. La serie Mi MIX es el buque insignia de más alta gama de la compañía, cuyos dispositivos generalmente cuentan con un diseño distintivo en cada modelo. En el Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 nos encontramos con un exclusivo cuerpo cerámico especial. La línea apunta a la clase empresarial de gama alta. Por último la más reciente serie Mi CC es una marca orientada directamente a los jóvenes.
Cabe destacar que estas divisiones y sus orientaciones de mercado son meramente descriptivas. Que Xiaomi mencione por ejemplo que la línea Mi CC se orienta al público joven no implica que solo vaya dirigida hacia los adolescentes, ya que cuentan con atractivos diseños a la vez que un apartado fotográfico destacable y gran batería. Mismo caso con la línea Mix por ejemplo, a la cual no debes ser necesariamente un ejecutivo para acceder a ella. Solo son definiciones pensadas para poner una diferenciación clara entre las tres series.
El fabricante chino está tratando de evitar añadir más confusión a su línea de productos que se está volviendo engorrosa para los clientes, al existir tantas líneas bajo la marca. Al final, para muchos su nomenclatura ya es bastante confusa y resulta muy difícil de seguir.
Cancelación de los Mi Note y Mi Max
La cancelación de la serie Mi Note se debe a que tiene la misma definición que la serie MIX. Mientras tanto la cancelación de la serie Mi Max se debe a que los requerimientos recientes del mercado (la era de pantalla completa) la hacen irrelevante. Un teléfono inteligente normal ahora usa una pantalla completa de hasta 6,5 pulgadas. Por lo tanto, esto hace que la serie Max coincida con la serie digital regular que viene con diseños de pantalla completa con tamaños similares.
