LG se suma a la lista de protagonistas de la feria de tecnología IFA. La firma presentó en Berlín el LG V30, un smartphone de gama alta orientado hacia la generación de contenido multimedia (fotografía y video) y que tiene como distintivo su cámara de lente doble con apertura de f/1.6.
Las cámaras con lente doble son cada vez más habituales en la gama alta, y aunque la del LG V30 cumple esta característica, agrega un sensor de 16 megapixeles con apertura de f/1.6 que permite una entrada 25% superior de luz en comparación con uno f1.8. La lente secundaria de 13 megapixeles tiene apertura de f/1.9, que en combinación con el principal permite realizar efectos bokeh en retratos. Sobre la cámara secundaria, LG indicó que se trata de una de 5 megapixeles con angular de 90 grados y apertura de f/2.2.
Otro de los aspectos destacados por la firma fue la utilización de un cristal conocido como Crystal Clear, que reduce la distorsión de color en fotografías gran angular, permitiendo una reproducción más exacta de los colores.
El diseño de este nuevo gama alta parte del que inauguró con el LG G6 y su pantalla Full Vision. El display es de 6 pulgadas con relación de aspecto 18:9 y resolución QuadHD. LG enfatizó que el LG V30 es el mejor smartphone no solo para producir contenido, sino también para consumirlo. La resistencia del equipo, uno de los aspectos que saltan en diseños carentes de biseles, está garantizada según señaló LG gracias al uso de Gorilla Glass 5 y una técnica de construcción que describió como “H-Beam” y un marco metálico que rodea los bordes. El nuevo equipo de LG también se pone a la vanguardia en cuanto a mecanismos de autentificación: sí, integra un lector de huellas digitales colocado al reverso del teléfono, pero la cámara frontal también realiza reconocimiento facial. LG destacó que esta función es utilizable incluso cuando la pantalla se encuentra apagada. Asimismo, puede desbloquearse utilizando comandos de voz e incluso dando toques en determinadas zonas de la pantalla.
Otro de los aspectos en los que sobresale el LG V30 es el sonido. Está equipado con sonido de alta fidelidad diseñado en conjunto con B&O y presume calidad Quad DAC de 32 bit. Asimismo integra soporte para tecnología MQA (Master Quality Authenticated, que mejora la fidelidad de la música reproducida en streaming.
LG indicó que el LG V30 será distribuido a partir del 21 de septiembre en Corea del Sur. Posteriormente el modelo será comercializado en más países. El equipo estará disponible en dos modelos, ambos con características idénticas salvo la capacidad de almacenamiento: 64 y 128GB. No se ofrecieron detalles sobre su precio.
