#MWC17: BlackBerry presenta su celular KEYone 92
Ya está aquí el primer celular que resulta de la colaboración entre el fabricante TCL y BlackBerry, y vio la luz en Barcelona, España, previo al arranque formal del Mobile World Congress 2017. Se trata del KEYone, el cual se distingue por integrar un teclado físico y el sistema operativo Android.
El teléfono estará disponible a nivel mundial a principios de abril de este año, a un precio de 549 dólares (alrededor de 10 mil 900 pesos).
De entrada, se presenta con un cuerpo de aluminio, lo que le da un aspecto premium, y llama la atención porque el teclado le roba espacio a la pantalla táctil Full HD… Aun así, es de 5 pulgadas y está protegida por Gorilla Glass 4. Pese a esta aventurada combinación, tiene un grosor de 9.4 milímetros y pesa 180 gramos.
Cuenta con el sistema operativo Android 7.1 Nougat, procesador Snapdragon 625 de ocho núcleos a 2.0GHz, 3GB en RAM y 32GB en almacenamiento interno, que se pueden expandir hasta 2TB por medio de tarjetas microSD. Mención aparte merece su batería de 3505mAh.
Para disfrutar de más tiempo del teléfono, lleva la tecnología Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, que promete hasta el 50% de carga en sólo 36 minutos.
Respecto a la seguridad, viene con DTEK by BlackBerry, una aplicación que le permite al usuario personalizar los permisos de las aplicaciones, así como las contraseñas y la organización de las carpetas. También incluye un sensor de huellas digitales en la barra espaciadora del teclado físico.
La marca anunció que estas características lo hacen el teléfono inteligente Android más seguro hasta el momento.
Como era de esperarse, a este smartphone se le incluyó BlackBerry Hub, que concentra los mensajes, los correos y las redes sociales en un mismo buzón.
Finalmente, cuenta con una cámara principal de 12 megapixeles con el sensor Sony IMX378, y una cámara frontal de 8 megapixeles que permite fotografías con ángulos más amplios.
Será interesante seguir de cerca la evolución del KEYone, un teléfono que retoma el teclado físico y que lo mejora con 52 atajos táctiles. ¿BlackBerry logrará coronarse de nuevo con este regreso?
