Light prepara un smartphone con nueve cámaras traseras para este año 157

En 2015, una empresa llamada Light, anunció un nuevo tipo de cámara llamada L16 que tenía 16 objetivos que funcionaban simultáneamente para capturar fotos con calidad DSLR y costaba en unos 2.000 dólares.

En aquel entonces, el L16 parecía una locura pero hoy en día, con smarpthones como el Huawei P20 Pro con tres lentes traseras, la idea de smartphones con múltiples cámaras no parece tan descabellada.

Ahora, según un artículo en  The Washington Post, la compañía está trabajando para lanzar un nuevo smartphone que tendrá entre cinco y nueve lentes. 

Aparentemente Light tiene varios prototipos en desarrollo que está probando (uno de ellos encabeza este artículo) para su lanzamiento en algún momento de este año.Light afirma que, con sus lentes múltiples, el smartphone podrá tomar capturas de 64MP.

Ahora bien, teniendo en cuenta el precio del L16, cabe esperar que el nuevo smartphone con múltiples cámaras tenga un precio elevado, si es que llega a salir al mercado en algún momento.
