Los compañeros de 9to5Google han encontrado un curioso dato en el código de la app de cámara de Google. Dentro de la actualización apareció el nombre de “needlefish”, una nomenclatura que había aparecido hasta ahora y que podría tratarse del nombre clave del Google Pixel 4a. ¿Llegará el Google Pixel 4a en octubre?
De todos es sabido que la compañía de la gran G ha decidido apostar al máximo por el sector de los smartphones con una nueva línea de terminales “económicos” con los que poder llegar al máximo de usuarios. Los Pixel 3a y Pixel3aXL se presentaron hace unos meses como la nueva apuesta de Google por mejorar su presencia en el mercado actual. Pues bien, todo parece indicar que les ha ido más que bien con esta estrategia y ya están planeando estrenar los nuevos Google Pixel 4a.
Google acostumbra a introducir sus terminales por medio de nombres clave en el código. En esta ocasión, los Pixel 4 y Pixel 4 XL han recibido el nombre de “coral” y “flame”. No obstante, sorprendieron cuando apareció “needlefish” en la nueva aplicación de cámara. Por el momento, los datos en relación a estas filtraciones son muy escasos, pero las primeras fuentes afirman que se podría tratar de un tercer modelo. De esta forma, la gama Pixel 4 quedaría ampliada con una versión económica de la que no se sabe mucho y que llegaría solo cinco meses después que la anterior.
Hasta ahora, la compañía de Mountain View no ha querido confirmar ni desmentir ninguna de las informaciones relacionadas con este caso. Habrá que esperar hasta el próximo 15 de octubre para conocer todos los detalles de un supuesto Google Pixel 4a que llegaría antes de lo esperado.
