Hace ya un par de meses que Google anunció los dispositivos no Pixel que tendrían acceso a la beta de Android Q. A día de hoy hay varios que ya pueden actualizar y otros que no. Tenemos muy buenas noticias si nos estás leyendo desde un Xiaomi Mi 9, pues este móvil ha comenzado su andadura en Android Q. La compañía ya ha abierto el plazo para inscribirse en la beta y poder actualizar antes de que Google anuncie la versión oficial de Android Q. Los problemas serán parte de la ROM, pues estamos ante una beta en toda regla. Aún así, es una muy buena oportunidad para probar las novedades sin tener que esperar varios meses más.
No todas las noticias son muy buenas, pues la compañía ha anunciado que la beta no es pública y que por lo tanto las plazas son limitadas. Xiaomi ya ha anunciado que está reclutando usuarios para probar la beta de Android Q en los Xiaomi Mi 9. La mala noticia para todos vosotros es que debes actualizar desde la ROM China, pues la Global todavía no tiene acceso. No sabemos si lo tendrá, pues hace un par de semanas la compañía anunció que no habría más actualizaciones beta para la ROM Global. Eso sí, se refería a MIUI y no a las versiones de Android.
Al tratarse de un caso especial puede que sí se pueda actualizar a Android Q con una beta Global. La ROM China no solo está el idioma local, también en inglés. Esto significa que si estás familiarizado con este tipo de ROMs y quieres actualizar, puedes probar suerte. No lo tendrás fácil, pero puede que Xiaomi también quiera coger usuarios de otros países para probar.
