Hace algunas semanas ya comenzaron a surgir los primeros detalles sobre un presunto futuro teléfono de Samsung denominado como Galaxy Note 10 Lite. Poco tiempo después, también surgió un supuesto Samsung Gañaxy S10 Lite, aun con la existencia del conocido Galaxy S10e. El Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite llegará como un dispositivo más “económico” de la familia “Galaxy S”. El teléfono da más señales de vida, puesto que ahora ha pasado por benchmarks. Ha sido la plataforma de pruebas comparativas Geekbench la que lo ha listado. Gracias a esto, contamos con más detalles de hardware sobre este misterioso teléfono que promete sorprendernos.
El Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite debería ser, en teoría, un teléfono con especificaciones más bajas que el modelo original de gama más alta. Esto nos recuerda la mítica serie “Galaxy Mini” que al principio llegó a ser una de las mejores en ventas. Sin embargo, según los informes más reciente que han surgido, la versión Lite del Galaxy S10 vendría con un chip comparable a sus hermanos mayores en potencia. Según la base de datos de referencia de Geekbench, el SoC en cuestión sería el Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. Este es el mismo que el procesador que tienen la mayoría de los buques insignia que salieron este año.
En la prueba de rendimiento de un solo núcleo de Geekbench, el dispositivo logró obtener 742 puntos. Mientras tanto, en las pruebas de rendimiento de múltiples núcleos alcanzó una puntuación de 2604. Como mencionamos anteriormente, estos resultados son comparables al que han obtenido teléfonos de gama alta de este año. Esto es normal, ya que al fin y al cabo comparten hardware.
Pero eso no es todo. La plataforma también revela que el procesador estaría acompañado de 8GB de memoria RAM. Además, aparece listado con el sistema operativo Android 10 instalado de serie. La gran pregunta que surge es cuál es el significado de este móvil, o por qué la compañía crearía un dispositivo con tales especificaciones, teniendo en cuenta que ya existe el Galaxy S10e.

Si se confirman estos datos, habría que considerar que tan económico podría llegar a ser. Anteriormente se había mencionado que su precio podría alcanzar los 700 dólares. También se había revelado que uno de los apartados en donde se reducirán costes sería en la cámara, ya que heredaría el sistema de cámaras del Galaxy A90, un terminal que, curiosamente, también cuenta con un procesador de gama alta, sin pertenecer a la línea “Galaxy S”.
