El Pixel 4 tendrá una cámara teleobjetivo y una cámara frontal IR 33
Después de algunas filtraciones sobre el próximo Pixel 4, Google quiso poner fin a los rumores publicando una imagen oficial de la parte trasera del futuro smartphone.
Esto nos permitió apreciar que el Pixel 4 tendrá dos cámaras traseras, pero hasta ahora no sabíamos si el segundo objetivo sería una lente teleobjetivo o ultra gran angular.
Ahora una nueva versión de la aplicación Google Camera parece haber dado la respuesta. Los chicos de XDA Developers afirman que la versión de la aplicación incluida en una versión filtrada de Android Q contiene referencias de código que mencionan específicamente «teleobjetivo», lo que parece dejar claro el tipo de lente que tendrá el Pixel 4.
Este objetivo permitirá al Pixel 4 tomar capturas de objetos alejados, pero también aportará información extra a la hora de tomar retratos con efecto bokeh simulado. Aunque el modo Retrato de Google ya es bastante bueno, la ausencia de datos profundidad hace que el fondo aparezca totalmente desenfocado, en lugar de ofrecer una grado de desenfoque progresivo en función de la distancia.
Otro dato interesante extraído del código de esta aplicación es acerca de la presencia de una cámara frontal de infrarrojos.
Ya sabemos que no habrá un sensor de huellas dactilares en la parte posterior del Pixel 4, por lo que esto apoya la idea de que Google está preparando su propia respuesta a Face ID de Apple, probablemente incorporando la tecnología del Proyecto Soli de la compañía.
