Hace solo unas horas, el fabricante chino confirmó oficialmente que planea impulsar una actualización de software para el teléfono recién lanzado que traerá el mencionado soporte para grabación de videos Super Slow-Motion a 960 fps en una resolución de 720p. Este es un paso significativo de los teléfonos OnePlus anteriores que admiten grabación a 480 fps en la misma resolución. Sin embargo, el sensor en el teléfono no es capaz de disparar 960 cuadros por segundo, por lo que probablemente usará algún tipo de interpolación para lograr esos cuadros.
Por otro lado, el OnePlus 7T también tendrá la capacidad de grabar a 4K con su sensor de cámara ultra ancha.
