Llevamos algún tiempo hablando y filtrando información sobre el modo oscuro de Facebook Messenger. Hoy por fin tenemos buenas noticias para todos los usuarios que estuviesen deseando probarlo. La compañía nos ha dejado con un pequeño huevo de pascua en la aplicación, el cual, permite activar el modo oscuro de una forma muy sencilla. Gracias a esta nueva opción la interfaz de Facebook Messenger cambiará totalmente de color, primando ahora el negro en vez del blanco. Es un cambio que estamos viendo en decenas de aplicaciones, incluso en el propio sistema operativo. Android Q ya prepara un modo drástico para hacer que todas las aplicaciones tengan un modo oscuro, quiera el desarrollador o no.
Facebook para Android es una de las aplicaciones más utilizadas de todo el mundo y por ello están implementando cambios para adaptarse a la nueva era del diseño oscuro. Con la llegada de Android Q, miles de aplicaciones tendrán listo su modo oscuro, para que los usuarios puedan navegar por su terminal y abrir aplicaciones siempre en modo oscuro.
Así se activa el nuevo modo oscuro de Facebook Messenger
La compañía ha querido incluir un pequeño huevo de pascua en la aplicación. Para activar este modo oscuro no basta con ir a los ajustes. Primero debes entrar en cualquier conversación y realizar un pequeño paso. Debes enviar el emoji de la luna y acto seguido una animación aparecerá en tu pantalla. Después, en la parte superior podrás visualizar un mensaje que te permite ir a los ajustes y activar el modo oscuro en la aplicación de Facebook Messenger.
En nuestro caso, al enviar el emoji de la luna no ha pasado nada. Hemos tenido que reiniciar la aplicación y volverlo a enviar para que todo sucediese. No estábamos seguros de qué emoji de luna era, por lo que hemos enviado todos los posibles. Ahora podemos asegurarte que se trata de la luna “amarilla” y no la que muestra los estados de la misma.
Una vez hayas activado el modo oscuro, este estará presente en toda la aplicación, cambiando todo lo que antes era blanco o gris por negro. El color secundario sigue siendo el azul, por lo que los mensajes que envías se mostrarán dentro de un bocadillo con este color. Eso sí, no podemos asegurarte que esto sea así cuando se implemente de forma global.
El huevo de pascua es temporal, para que solo los usuarios más interesados prueben el modo oscuro. Cuando esté totalmente acabado no será necesario enviar nada para que aparezca el apartado en los ajustes de Messenger.
